Competence from the very beginning
Our success has a history. It began in 1990, when Air France, Lufthansa, Cathay Pacific and Japan Airlines launched a global communications system with the aim of facilitating the exchange of information between airlines and cargo agents. The result was “Global Logistics System Europe Company for Cargo Information Services GmbH,” operating under the trademark TRAXON Europe. Later on TRAXON Europe became shareholder of TRAXON India.
In November 2011, TRAXON Europe was acquired by CHAMP Cargosystems, the leading provider of integrated air cargo solutions. The acquisition was accomplished through a deal between CHAMP, Lufthansa Cargo and Air France the majority shareholders of TRAXON Europe. TRAXON Europe is now a subsidiary of CHAMP and continues to operate under the TRAXON name.
The headquarters of TRAXON Europe are located in Frankfurt am Main. TRAXON India has its headquarters in New Delhi, with offices in Bombay, Bangalore, Calcutta and Chennai.
Partners in a competitive international market
The customer is king at TRAXON. The TRAXON network links partners around the globe. More than 100 airlines and 3,000 forwarders with approximately 9,000 offices are currently connected to the TRAXON network.
But it’s not size that matters. Preferred products, individual service and an international team are our recipe for success. Our partners are well aware of this and know what to expect from a service provider if they want to deliver the highest quality.
