Be prepared: EU Customs Security Filing (ICS) is coming as of January 01, 2011
Dear Sir or Madam,
Only six more weeks before the new EU Import Control System (ICS) will go live in all EU Member States as of January 01, 2011.
From this date pre-arrival information such as Entry Summary Declarations (ENS), Arrival Notifications (ARN) and Diversion Requests (DIV) for shipments into the European Union have to be provided
electronically and in time. In case the necessary data is not provided as required, airlines risk having goods delayed or entry refused at the EU border.
TRAXON Europe is well prepared in order to help our customers avoid this risk. Our TRAXON ACC Europe solution offers one interface to the complete EU Security Zone consisting of 27 EU countries as
well as Norway and Switzerland. Since mapping to the respective customs authorities is based on standard EDI messages (FWB, FHL and FFM) adaptations for the airline are basically not necessary.
And to make the process even easier we offer our customers multiple ways to receive FWBs and FHLs electronically right from the beginning. Apart from TRAXON EDI, we provide for FWB and FHL capture our
software TRAXON Line as well as a web based solution which can be integrated right into the airline’s own website.
