Electronic House Air Waybills to be required by Turkish Airlines
Dear Sir or Madam,
We are pleased to inform you that Turkish Airlines has extended its scope of electronic communications and is now accepting electronic House Air Waybills (FHLs) in addition to the Master Air Waybill
(FWB).
Exchanging FHLs is especially important for import shipments into the European Union. All airlines must comply with EU Import Regulations, known as ICS (Import Control System). The new EU regulations
have become mandatory since January 01, 2011.
Please also note the following codes for communication with Turkish Airlines:
