In the global airfreight industry, quick and accurate online status information is the precondition for reliable and seamless delivery. While there is a multitude of status data available, TRAXON Air Waybill Status Tracking (AST) permits customized information in the form of various airfreight status updates which provide an overview of your shipments.

The principle: one interface – all data
AWB Status Tracking is a central interface and collecting point for electronic air waybills. The forwarding agent sends TRAXON Europe all of its electronic air waybills. TRAXON then takes care of the rest. With AWB Status Tracking, status information is requested from a given airline, filtered, and promptly passed on to the forwarding agent. The advantage is that the forwarding agent will no longer receive information two or three times but only once, so that a single fee is charged for the provision of information.

Easy and economic status information
Many carriers do not supply forwarders with automatic status messages (FSU). The forwarder has to send a status request (FSR) to the airline manually and will then receive an answer (FSA) with the current status information. This process is time-consuming and inconvenient, since the forwarder must continue to send (and pay for) FSR messages to find out the current status of a shipment. TRAXON AST continually monitors the status of consignments in the airline system and automatically sends customized status information (FSA) and status updates (FSU) to the forwarder.

The TRAXON system does even more
The forwarder sends e-AWB (FWB) information to the system. The TRAXON system then filters the information automatically, converts different data versions to a common format and discards FWB information. At this point the TRAXON system requests up-to-date information (FSR) from the airline, filters it automatically and converts the data to the format used by the forwarder. Thus, the central TRAXON AST interface provides forwarders with relevant and up-to-date status information.
